Privacy Policy

Kache Register LLC (“Kache,” “we,” “us”) provides business-management software — point of sale, scheduling, invoicing, customer records, payments, and related tools — to the businesses that subscribe to it (“merchants”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our websites (including kacheregister.com and app.kacheregister.com), our applications, and our services.

Information we collect

Account information. When a merchant creates a Kache account we collect business and contact details: business name, your name, email address, phone number, and address.

Business data merchants store in Kache.Merchants use Kache to run their operations, which means they store records in our systems — products, inventory, appointments, invoices, employee records, and customer records (such as a customer’s name, phone number, email, and purchase history). This data belongs to the merchant. We process it only to provide the service.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment partners. Card numbers are tokenized by the payment processor and do not pass through or get stored on Kache systems. We store transaction records (amounts, dates, last four digits, and status) so merchants can run their books.

Usage and device information. Like most software, we collect basic technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken — to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the service, process transactions, send service communications (such as receipts, appointment reminders, and account notices), provide support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not use merchant or customer data to build advertising profiles.

Text messaging (SMS)

Merchants may use Kache to send transactional text messages to their customers — appointment reminders, order and delivery updates, invoices, and replies to customer-initiated messages. Customers opt in when they provide their mobile number and consent to receive messages from a business that uses Kache. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get assistance by replying HELP.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

What we share — and what we don’t

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us run Kache — such as payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery, and SMS carriers — and only as needed to provide the service. These providers are bound to use the information solely on our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Kache, our merchants, or others.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; the app requires essential cookies to function.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and merchant data is isolated per business. We retain information for as long as a merchant account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you are a customer of a business that uses Kache, the business is the controller of your records — we will direct your request to them or assist them in honoring it.

Children

Kache is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will post the updated version here and update the date above.
